Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amโ8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Aloha Platez & Shave Ice Co. at (310) 715-6900; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, alohaplatez.com.

Gardena is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Gardena is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

They have parking spots just for the restaurant which is good so youโre not looking for parking. I got a regular pep pizza and it was good. Got some shave ice and they offer to put more syrup if you feel you need more while getting to the middle. Service was great. The guy that took my order was very nice and the girl that brings out the food is very kind. Great place to eat and hangout with friends.

High praise from a Hawaii nativeโand it absolutely lives up to the hype! A friend of mine who is originally from Hawaii told me that Aloha Platz has the best malasadas she has ever had in California, so I had to come try them for myself. She was 100% right! They are freshly made to order, meaning they arrive hot, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. They offer a fantastic variety of fillings, including plain, chocolate dobash, coconut haupia, passion fruit lilikoi, and guava. Every single filling is incredibly flavorful and delicious. If you are looking for an authentic, mouth-watering treat, this is the place to go. I will definitely be back!

Nice little pizza place. The staff where so sweet and nice. Luis over the phone and in person and the young ladies at the counter as well. I tried the meat lovers/Ikaika. I asked for extra krispy and it was cooked just how I asked ๐. Da'Pele is next to try. It had a few families enjoying themselves as a entered. Very nice restaurant. See you soon.

The pizza is real good and especially like the donuts. I brought a slice of cake but I'm not really into cakes as much. The atmosphere feels like being in Hawaii. The customer service is good. They're very attentive and welcoming. I'll be returning for more donuts and another menu item

Why Aloha Platez? Haven't tried their pizza unfortunately, just their breakfast. #1 reason their SALSA, no lie it's Ono! FOOD (breakfast only) 4/5 - Breakfast Burrito 4/5 their salsa Portuguese sausage, eggs, hashbrown, white and green onions OR the fried rice version - Local Deluxe 4/5 Spam and portuguese sausage. 2 eggs with 2 scoops rice. Garnished with green onions. SERVICE 4/5 Always friendly service from all their staff members PARKING 4/5 Easy free parking but can get busy especially since NAM kitchen is next door AMBIENCE 4/5 Large high ceiling outdoor and indoor eating spots, no issues

My friends and I have made this our favorite stop on our way to SoFi stadium before the games. Conveniently located just off the 91 with plenty of space for our group. Always quick, delicious and incredibly warm Aloha spirit. I donโt ever order chicken outside but Mako recommended it so I tried it, itโll surprise you, trust! Aloha Platez is one of those places you go for good dependable food but always walk away meeting new friends. Prices are fair but once you consider the amount of food you get, itโs actually a really good deal. Oh and those Malasadas are amazing. Iโm not a desert person but I have to say their dough is light and bouncy, almost mochi level. Itโs better than in Waikiki IMO. Simple but perfect, worth the try. I like it plain bc the dough is the best part.

This place is in what I like to call a foodie corner, and apartments basically in the same driveway. When you enter this place, it's warm and welcoming! They had lots of cool things to purchase besides food! We ordered a lot, let's get into it. Hawaiian Freeze: This was super refreshing, and you can put different flavors in it. Sake Freeze: A fun alcoholic version of the Hawaiian Freeze. This was also refreshing. Local Deluxe (Spam & Portuguese Sausage): I upgraded the rice to Bacon Fried Rice, no regrets at all. Everything was fried perfectly, my Over-Medium Egg was exactly the way I love it. That Bacon Fried Rice just made this dish so much better! Unlimited Toppings Pizza: Basically got the important meats, but added all the veggies, nothing overpowered anything else. It was amazing! Ikaika: Oh, if you like your meat lovers pizza, look no further than this! Daily Specials: Chicken Katsu Curry: This was amazing, also adding the Bacon Fried Rice just gave it so much extra flavor. Would totally do it again! Curry Pizza: Oh, crispy cheese, curry, and stewed veggies, would totally order it again. Hands down one of my favorite spots for Hawaiian food. Would drive out of my
